What an absolute thrill to have a private lesson with MIRIAM LARICI & LEONARDO BARRIONUEVO!

Miriam was in the original cast of Forever Tango.

Miriam & Leo are perhaps today best known as the tango choreographers for So You Think You Can Dance.

Now we can't wait to practice what they taught us!

Saturday, August 19, 2017

After a spectacular concert by the Stowe Tango Music Festival Orchestra and dancers Miriam Larici & Leonardo Barrionuevo and Ana Padron & Diego Blanco, there was a milonga on stage at the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center.

After class, a small celebration for Augie's birthday, and a selfie:  Deborah, Mike, Augie, me

Augie, Alex, Deborah

I love Amelie's French Bakery in Charlotte, as much for the imaginative, zany decor as for the excellent food!

Loaded to the max:  60 pairs of tango shoes, three tables, lights & display materials, and three adults with luggage. And wine for arrival!

What an unexpected thrill to meet

MARCELA DURAN, one of the most famous, iconic

dancers in

Forever Tango!
